1961 Born in Zürich, Switzerland 1984 Becomes an assistant to photographer Raymond Meier, learning the basics of the trade. 1985 Spends 6 months in New York and many evenings at the School of Visual Arts in Manhatten, learning coloring techniques and experimenting in the darkroom. 1986 - 1990 Works part time as a photo lab technician at a Zürcher Newspaper, creates a photo series of city parks and visits the southern coast of England several times to photograph beaches. 1990 - 1994 Has a change of heart, stores her photography collection away and becomes a career counselor and a certified yoga instructor. Her interest in self discovery grows. 1994 - 1995 Wants to self explore full time, quits her jobs, terminates her apartment lease, comes to the United States and spends more than five months in silent meditation retreats. Meets her husband to be. 1996 Relocates to the United States, Connecticut. 1996 - 2003 Resumes photography and takes pictures of beaches. Continues her self discovery with rebirthing. Exhibits her work in numerous galleries in CT and NY, has some of her images published as posters and art prints. Travels, looking for the perfect coastal town to settle in, goes south and west, and ends up back east in Newport, Rhode Island. 2003 Discovers the beauty of backlit photographs and gives her art function. 2004 - 2006 Creates a line of seaside inspired lampshades, learns about creating a website and launches an online business.
